BBS is the only national sports disability charity in the UK that specifically supports people with sight loss to take part in sport and recreational activities, ensuring that people with sight loss have the same opportunities as sighted people to experience the power of sport in their lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

British Blind Sport knows the difference sport makes to the visually impaired (VI) people it supports. It's not just about chasing or hitting a ball, keeping fit or winning a race... sport raises confidence, improves communication skills and above all helps to alleviate isolation by getting people out and about in a social environment. The work BBS does helps break down barriers to participation and aims to give VI people the same sporting and physical activity opportunities as others.”
