In May 2017 I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I underwent chemotherapy and major surgery at Yeovil hospital, followed by radiotherapy at Taunton hospital. I am very fortunate that my treatment was successful and I am now cancer free. Whilst struggling to cope with the challenge of chemo, I started writing a list of the things I had never done that I would do if my treatment was a success. Abseiling is one of those things and where better to do it than at the hospital!! I’m fine with heights as long as I feel safe although I’m not sure how I’m going to feel stepping off of the roof. The money I’m raising will go towards the breast cancer care at the hospital
