Story
Two weeks after his 15th birthday, our nephew Ben (my sister Suzie's son) was rushed into Southampton General Hospital where he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic T-cell lymphoma, a curable form of blood cancer. Now six months into his treatment under the amazing paediatric oncology team on Piam Brown Ward, Ben is doing well. Their whole family, not just Ben, are being wonderfully supported along their journey by the fantastic CLIC Sargent team, something that Covid-19 is preventing me from doing in person.
My 50th birthday is soon coming up and this year what I want more than anything is to support young cancer patients at a time when they need it most. You can make it one to remember by donating to help stop cancer destroying young lives. CLIC Sargent fights tirelessly for young cancer patients. They provide grants and free accommodation close to hospital to help with spiralling costs. Their care teams are on hand to help families with everything from getting benefits to treatment closer to home. They're there to make sure young cancer patients can focus on getting their lives back on track.
Anything you can give will make a difference. Thank you. Jo xx
