Hello everyone, on the 8th November 2012 at 2pm, I'll be getting all my hair shaved off in the North Lanes in Brighton at PeeWee's hair salon. (Seriously, check out how supportive they've been and whatnot: http://www.brilliantbrighton.com/)

I know a lot of people who consider their hair very precious, but I don't, so I may as well raise some money to have all of mine cut off in the hope that it makes a few lives a bit better:

Any money raised will go to Diabetes UK, and the hair itself will be sent off to Wigs for Kids. Everyone wins! A poorly child gets a wig, I get a much-needed haircut, Diabetes UK gets more money for research and treatment of Diabetes, and all in the name of one of the most wonderful guys I've ever met, Lewis Fraser, who passed away in April 2010 as a result of Type 1 Diabetes. Plus, it's all relevant because he had wonderful curly little ringlets, which we all teased him for.

So, donate some money if you can spare any, or simply send me a few words of encouragement, (I've never been bald before) or even send me a hat for when I'm regretting this afterwards.
