This September join us for The Five Valleys Walk! On Sunday 24 September 2023, hundreds of walkers will explore the hills and valleys of Stroud district, enjoying stunning scenery while raising vital funds to fight meningitis in the UK.

Story

On Sunday 24 September I'll be taking part in the Five Valleys Walk 2023. The full walk is 21.6 miles through stunning Stroud and the surrounding villages, and every penny you can spare will help spur me on up the hills to Minchinhampton and Pitchcombe! Meningitis Now have asked each walker to raise £22 in sponsorship to help the 22 people whose lives are affected by meningitis everyday in the UK. The money I raise will help fund vital awareness of the signs and symptoms of the disease (it's not just the glass test!), while supporting research into meningitis and helping provide everything from counselling to adaptive equipment for those whose lives have been changed forever by this devastating disease.
