Cardiff Half Marathon 2014 · 5 October 2014 ·
Thanks for visiting my justgiving page. I'm running the Cardiff half marathon with my partner Mark, in memory of Mark's brother Dan. I'm supporting the Samaritans, who offer a non-judgmental ear for those who feel low. They also do preventative work in train stations, and support staff and others who witness events in stations. Over 5 million people contact the Samaritans every year - that's over 13,000 per day. I have not run any races before so anticipate some pain! I'm trying to raise £100 for every mile I run. Watch this video to understand how the Samaritans help people to turn their lives around.

Sadly, I did not have long to get to know Dan as well as I would have liked. If you'd like to know more about him, this post by his bike club is lovely.
