On the 11th June, I'll be embarking on a 500 mile cycle as part of a 4 man team, "Team Skylark", from Edinburgh to London to attend the "Speak up for the love of...." climate rally on the 17th June.

This is an important event that will help get climate action on the political agenda following the recent general election and ultimately help protect wildlife. We hope that there will be lots of people in London on the 17th campaigning for the cause!!! The ride will be a massive personal challenge for me and a huge achievement to complete.

En route, we hope to raise awareness of the impacts of climate change on wildlife and show just how much our nation cares about protecting nature.  We'll be passing through several RSPBs nature reserves along the way, stopping off to find out more about how climate change threatens the wildlife they each protect. We'll also be picking up messages to deliver to Westminster MPs that explain why local people in the regions we pass through want action now and why nature is so important to them.
