This beautiful girl is Kaila who I am so proud to call my  niece. She has just turned 9 years old but last year she was very poorly and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This turned our lives upside down but we are all so thankful that she is still here with us. With the help from her loving parents and 2 older sisters Leah and Abbie plus other family members and friends she is living her life to the max, some days are so very hard for her but Kaila is a tough cookie and manages to get through it with her gorgeous smile. She is so young and has had so much to deal with but instead of feeling sorry for herself she wants to raise money for Diabetes UK and help others. So when she asked me if there was anything I can do to help then I thought by creating this page everyone can see what a great cause it really is. I have set a goal of 500 pounds but hopefully that will just be the beginning so please donate. Even if everyone can spare just 1 pound to Diabetes UK we will soon smash the target and help others just like our special little girl Kaila
