I am doing the Great Manchester Run in memory of Abigail Sheila Hawtin.
Abigail was a beautiful, bright little girl. She was loving, warm and always had a smile on her face. She touched the lives of everyone who met her.
Abigail had Type1 SMA and passed away just short of turning 8 months old.
SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) devastates lives. It is a heartbreaking, hereditary, degenerative condition. It is rare with only 100 children diagnosed every year, yet it is the biggest genetic killer of under 2 year olds.
SMA Support UK work to support those with SMA and their families. They raise awareness and help to fund research into finding a cure for this terrible condition. Please help me raise money and awareness of SMA
