This will be my third Transaid cycle challenge - but my first in the UK. After eight years of involvement with Transaid I know how many lives their work saves - through road safety work and emergency transport solutions in remote areas.

The pictures here are from my visit to see their work in 2019 in Zambia and from earlier challenges.

In 2018 my dear friend Jayne died while cycling with me on Transaid's cycle challenge in Africa. This cycle ends on the 3rd anniversary of our last night in a tent together before she died. I will be cycling in memory of her and the people she helped through her work.
