After many failed attempts to lose weight, i have finally found motivation in a little girl called Lauryn.

Lauryn was diagnosed with  Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia just after her 5th Birthday and has bravely battled through chemotherapy and life threatening infections since being diagnosed. You can see from the photo's that she still wears a huge smile, despite all she is going through. She is a real star!!

Claire, her amazing mum,  is getting married in June and is doing a sponsored slim to ensure she is looking her best on her big day. I have decided to support her in raising money, so that the fab work that Leukaemia Research does can continue to help many more kids in the future.

I have done my initial weigh-in and have scared myself at how quickly the pounds can pile on!  I would love everyone to sponsor me either a £ for a lb or a simple set amount.
