Story
St Giles Hospice is well known where I live, and like all hospices is tireless in supporting families at some of their worst times. I have supported a number of their initiatives in the past, but wasn't able to collect Christmas trees this year, so have opted for this instead.
If you are experiencing deja-vu, it's because this is the second time
within 12 months that I will descend from height; however, unlike the skydive, it's only 80 feet, I won't need a parachute and you only need to sponsor me £5 - all donations will go straight to St Giles and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
It takes a community to make a hospice. Only a third of our running costs are provided by the NHS so we rely on the generosity of our community to help us provide our vital care. Whoever you are, whatever you're interested in, there are lots of ways you can get involved and help make a difference to local people, and their families, living with a terminal illness.
