Story
I was meant to be completing this challenge in May 2020. However, I slipped in some mud and shattered my right ankle in January 2020, and thought I wouldn’t be able to take part. Then the event was postponed during the pandemic, which gave me time to recover and get back on my feet. It’s not going to be easy with two plates and twelve screws in my ankle, but then nothing worth doing is ever easy. Please show your support by helping me to reach my fundraising goal for Mind.
I’ll be walking 33km with 8 school friends on 14 May from Corfe Castle to Weymouth via Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, climbing 1100 metres. We were all turning 40 around the time of the original challenge and looking for something to do to prove we still had fitness as well as friendship.
