We provide support to blood cancer patients to help them through their treatment

Story

As a company, we chose LINC as our chosen charity as we want to support a local charity and give something back to the community in which we all work and live.

John Phillips; the founder and Managing Director of JMP, has decided to set himself a personal challenge to support LINC and is walking the grueling 84 miles of Hadrians Wall in 6 days. Starting at Wallsend on 6th July and finishing at Bowness-on-Solway on 12th July. He will be joined for all 6 days by Neil Brimble of Abbey Business Interiors.

LINC is a local charity in Cheltenham that provides emotional and financial support to individuals and their families who are going through intensive chemotherapy for blood cancers. When you are diagnosed with leukemia you need to immediately start treatment and are put into isolation, your world stops but the world outside continues. LINC is there to ensure your stay in the isolation wards are as comfortable as possible but also to provide financial assistance when needed. They help with childcare, mortgages, bills, rent etc. LINC tries to take these other worries away so that the patients can concentrate on getting better.
