Story
I initially entered this year's London Marathon simply to try to beat the time my brother recorded last year and to shave some time off of my PB of 2 hr 51 mins. I therefore didn't really give much thought to raising money for a charity.
However, after learning that a friend of my 4 year old twin daughters at St Columba's School, along with his younger brother were recently diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, I had no hesitation about raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK ("MDUK"). Since the diagnosis, Owen's and George's parents, together with their family and friends, have raised over £34,000 for the charity and I'd like you to help me add to that total so that MDUK can continue to fund much needed research. Please give whatever you can to this great cause. All of your support is very much appreciated.
