Story

Dear Friends

Woe is me. I have pulled a hamstring and for the first time in many, many years am not able to walk for Norfolk’s historic churches this coming Saturday (14/9/2019). However, my hardy companions Cally, David and Jill will all be walking and it would marvellous if you could support them instead.

Their route will take in Wroxham,  Hoveton and Belaugh (associated with Betjeman) Aylsham’s grand parish church and a good clutch of chapels, before setting off back to Wroxham by the river taking in Burgh next Aylsham, Brampton, Oxnead (with remains of the Paston palace and gardens), Lamas, Buxton, Little Hautbois (a ruin in grounds of an Elizabethan house), Great Hautbois (also a ruin), Horstead and Coltishall.

All best wishes,

Jeremy
