Unfortunately, our much loved dad, John Monk, passed away on the 22nd April 2021.  He hadn't been well through lockdown and was struggling with his health, including cancer.  His passing was blessedly very sudden and very quick.  His heart failed while getting a  glass of wine - the way he would have wanted to go.

Given the restrictions of lockdown we're not going to be able to celebrate Dad's life with as many people as we'd like for a little while.  We're aiming for something with more people around July, restrictions permitting.  However, the funeral is quite soon (13th May) and we liked the idea of a donation to cancer research as an alternative to flowers, for those of you who, like us, loved him.  We thought this would be a nice gesture that would mean something to him.
