Story

Hello,

I will be jumping out of a plane to raise money for The National Autistic Society. A close charity of mine.

Autism is a life long condition that cannot be cured. More than 1 in every 100 people are diagnosed with being on the autism spectrum. It's impossible to tell if someone is autistic because it is hidden and we (speaking for those like me) get misjudged as "weird" making us feel lonely and misunderstood.

I myself was diagnosed with autism at the age of 4. I went through life longing for acceptance in the real world but was always knocked back. It's difficult for people like me because we think differently among normal people. However, I embrace my quirks and enjoy being "eccentric" - a positive definition for weird.

I am an adrenaline junkie myself and always loved fairground rides. Now I am keen to take on bigger challenges and performing a tandem skydive for an awareness special to me will be one of my greatest achievements.

I know people with autism deserve a fair chance in life and do not need to be treated differently. We walk on the same earth as everyone else.

I will very much appreciate your support if you can. It will mean the world! Sending all my love to such wonderful people who take their time to consider this and donate what they can.

Many thanks from yours truly! :D
