JCNC Jive for Survive, 3 December 2020
We started as a survivor-led support group for women who had experienced child sexual abuse (CSA). We now help men and women recover from sexual trauma: from rape, sexual assault and CSA to grooming, exploitation and coercive sexual control.

Story

JCNC are doing a 24 Hour Dancathon to raise awareness and money for the charity The Survivors Trust, in particular the branch in North Yorkshire, Survive, who are celebrating their 30th year.

As women at University we are sadly tackling misogyny, lad culture and occasionally harassment. We love our friends at University, of all genders and orientations, and want to make campus a safe and respectful space. We hope through this campaign we will raise awareness and encourage everyone to speak kindly, act respectfully and protect one another.

We also want to raise money for a charity which is providing vital care and support for victims and families of sexual harassment, abuse and rape.

Girls from JCNC will be dancing throughout the 24 hours, something we have been missing recently. Please donate whatever you are able to support us and Survive.
