To celebrate the birthday of BTS Jin, ARMYs have decided to support
animal welfare & services.

Why Animals?
Although we cannot know everyone single ARMY's reason for choosing
animal welfare & services as the cause to support for Seokjin's birthday, we can at least take a guess.

Most of the members of BTS have either their own pet or a family pet, that they're all very fond of and don't hesitate to show off on social media. Seokjin is one of them who have been very vocal about the importance of taking care of the pet you do have, and to not take the "job" as an owner lightly. He has also been seen openly donating to animal shelters in South Korea. It is very obvious that animals well being is something that is important to him, to all of BTS. And in that spirit ARMY has made many charity projects in their names. This time, we'll help the stray animals of India.

Who are Animal Aid Unlimited?
Animal Aid Unlimited is a vital rescue centre, hospital and sanctuary for injured and ill street animals in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. They rescue thousands of hurt and sick animals each year and provide sanctuary to those who need life-long care. They are 'Home' to more than 200 such fragile animals.

Who are One In An ARMY?
One In An ARMY (OIAA) is a fan collective comprised of volunteers around the globe. Driven by our shared interest in global superstars, BTS, and the idea of using our collective power for global good, we seek out non-profit organizations worldwide and harness the power of ARMY into giving micro-donations over a one month period. Our motto, “I am ONE in an ARMY”, plays with the idea that many people giving small amounts can create a substantial impact when we work together.

The past year we had 7 successful birthday campaigns,  one for each member of BTS. Then OIAA personally picked the organizations with the aim of supporting causes that represented each members individuality. This year we conducted polls that ARMY could vote on for what causes should be supported for each members birthday.
