Fundraising for Link Community Development
Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
On March 27th 2009 myself and two friends, Meg Lewis and Tom Kluge are breaking out of the UK and hitch hiking all the way to Prague and WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We're hitch hiking as part of a nationwide event to raise money for Link Community Development, a charity which works with schools in Africa to provide a brighter future for children in Africa.
How the cash will be used:
£10 - ten reading books for the kids
£20 - for one teacher to attend HIV/AIDs training
£30 - literacy training for one teacher
£45 - training for one head teacher with LCD staff
LCD has given each hitcher a minimum fundraising target of £350 but with your help i'd like to smash that target!
Donating is so fast an easy and 100% of your donation goes to charity so please dig deep and donate what you can as EVERY PENNY COUNTS!

About the hitch: We will be departing from a London service station on Friday morning and hitchhiking to Harwich port to cross the channel into Holland. From there we will be hitching to Amsterdam and finally to Prague (that's the plan anyway). We'll be taking some clothes and a tent, sleeping in that or hostels along the way and generally trying to keep costs down. (All costs incurred are paid for by us NOT the charity).
