Story
On the 16th March 2013 I made a drunken bet with an Englishman in a pub, that whatever the points difference was between Wales and England in the 6 Nations, I would run it in miles. At best I thought it would be six or seven...I definitely didn't expect Wales to win 30-3. The next morning I woke up with a monster hangover and bottled the challenge. Days became week, weeks became years and I never did run those 27 miles. Not completing the challenge has bugged me for 7 years...but it's time to change that! I feel I'm ready to run further than I've ever run before!!!
On Saturday 22nd February, myself and Matthew Bull Phillip's will run the Llanelli Park Run and not stop. We'll keep on going all the way to North Dock where we will run lap after lap until the full 27 miles has been completed. This is partly inspired by madness, partly inspired by Matthew's training and mostly inspired by Forest Gump. Just like Mr Gump, we would love it if people could join in with us. You don't have to run 27 miles, but company would be great.
I'll film the whole thing because I'm mad like that and we'll be doing it for charity. What do you say? Who's in?
