Story

Hey,

In the summer of 2009 I shall be cycling from Lands End to John O' Groats, it should take me 2 weeks covering about 68 miles a day and nearly 1000 altogether!

Why would I inflict this upon myself I hear you ask? Well mainly to raise funds for Sue Ryder care, who provide care and support for those with serious illnesses. This is my way of saying a belated thank you to the nurses at Thorpe Hall (Peterborough) for looking after my Gran during her last few weeks here on our strange, and often cruel, little planet. This trip will also give me the chance to view a unique picture of Britain from the comfort (?) of my bike seat.

I am maintaining a blog at http://jimlejog09.blogspot.com/ if you wish to get further information.

(Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sue Ryder Care gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. So please sponsor me now!)
