WHAT A FANTASTIC WEEKEND - We completed the trip - got well and truly muddy and saw some fantastic scenery.  I think they need to rename it though - A Jaunt along Country Lanes it certainly wasn't and in places the terrain was really quite challenging and a test for my driving skills. 

The ethos of The Exmoor 4 x 4 Challenge and Jaunt is for owners of 4 x 4 vehicles to be given the chance to drive offroad across the Exmoor National Park and see some outstanding countryside, in return for raising money for the Charity Wooden Spoon. The entrants each have to pay 50GBP to take part in the event and also raise a minimum of 400GBP in sponsorship prior to the event ,which this year takes place on the 20th and 21st March 2010.

Wooden Spoon is a children’s charity founded in 1983 that is dedicated to helping underprivileged children and young people all over the UK and Ireland to live happier, richer lives.
