Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
**UPDATE** Jim has completed his walk down the West Highland Way from Fort William to Inverarnan – 54 miles in just 17½ hours, with a team from the Dumbarton Company of 51st HIGHLAND, 7 SCOTS that included Capt ‘Mac’ MacKenzie, the PSAO, WO2 Hamilton, the CSM, with CSgt Simpson and Sgt Doolan taking up strategic locations along the way with cups of tea and rations to keep them all going. So well done and a big thanks to Jim and 7 SCOTS. You can still donate to this great effort!
Thanks for your support.
Jim
Thin Red Line Appeal
The Regimental Museum of this illustrious Scottish Highland
Regiment tells the story of more than 200 years of service and it is vital that the history of this Regiment is maintained and told to visitors of all ages and nationalities, within a first class, bright and modern Museum setting.
Following Ministry of Defence cuts, the Museum started a major
redevelopment project to meet the expectation of today’s visitors, ensuring that the stories of service and sacrifice of the soldiers and families of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders live on as part of the nation’s history, with the Museum remaining a focal point for veterans, schools, educational visits and local community involvement.
We need your help!
By supporting the Thin Red Line Appeal you can help us raise
the funds required to create a first-class museum that will appeal to visitors of all ages and nationalities.
