Story

Welcome to my JustGiving 2010 Irish Challenge page.

We've done it & we're back safe though Nigel's car took a bit of stick.  500 miles in three days of whistlestop cycling around Ireland.  No punctures amazingly given some of the rough rural roads and we had to cope with some wild & windy weather.  Together we're now hoping to raise at least £2000 thanks to the many generous donations and pledges we've already received. Half the money we raise will go to our chosen local charity, Rowcroft Hospice in Devon in memory of Alison Duncan, and the other half will be shared between Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation.

The organiser CAC distributes 100% of the donations raised to the chosen charities so you're not funding my Irish cycling holiday! For more information on CAC & The Irish Challenge see: http://www.challengeadventurecharities.org.uk/ or drop me a line at jim.m.patterson@btinternet.com
