Anyone with children, and many without, are probably aware of the nightmare of having their child suffer with Meningitis. It is a terrible condition with potentially devastating results. BUT.......there is excellent research going on to help get rid of it, and I ask for your help and support in making that come true, an action that will genuinely change the world. Now, there's not many things you can do from your sofa that you can say helped change the lives of thousands of people for the better.

So, I've got off that sofa, found some old trainers and a rediculously thin shirt and pair of shorts (for the winter), and headed out into the cold, dark and wet nights to get fit enough to run over 13 miles. Quickly I realised I was crazy, out of my mind, it wasn't possible. But, minutes of training turned to hours, yards to miles, and now it seems I might just make it. But I need your help, I need you to do it instead. No, only joking, all I ask is that you give a little something to this great cause in exchange for all my efforts and completion of the course on the 8th March.
