Serving in fire and rescue can take its toll - on the body, the mind and on family life. We're here for people in all fire and rescue roles, giving the care and support they deserve, during and after service.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

on the 8th of August 2010 I will be swimming, cycling and running over 140 miles in The Outlaw triathlon in Nottingham. This is an Ironman distance event which consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and finally a full 26.2 mile marathon, one after the other!

I hope to complete it in 12 hours and hope to raise £1400 for the firefighters charity, that's about £10 per mile!

So if you want to see me suffer for 12 hours and want to help raise money for a good cause please give generously.

Regards Jim
