Event: Uganda volunteer project, on 28 October 2020
We use play the power of play to enrich vulnerable children's lives.

Story

Our mission is to ignite every disadvantaged child’s potential through the power of play! In many communities across the world, play is not seen as a priority, despite it being one of the fundamental rights of a child. By increasing access to play and education, we support the long-term health, well-being and employment prospects of children, empowering them to map their own paths to brighter futures. Play gives children their childhoods back, and we believe that every child, everywhere, deserves to enjoy the benefits of play. Our team of volunteers will be heading out to Uganda in summer 2022 to assist with transforming an empty field at a local school into an exciting new playgrounds bursting with colour and fun, leaving a legacy for children to learn and develop essential life skills and nurture their physical, psychological and social development. They will also be taking on a huge adventure challenge consisting of kayaking, rafting, biking, hiking and climbing all to raise money for Play Action International!
