Jilly and Alice are Giving an Inch
Fundraising for Little Princess Trust
Fundraising for Little Princess Trust
Help me give an inch!
I'm giving an inch (or, hopefully, eleven) so that Little Princess Trust can turn my hair into a wig for a child suffering hair loss. The wigs cost £2,000 each to make but they mean the world to a little person going through an unimaginably harrowing experience. So, in my latest attempt to raise money for a tremendously worthwhile charity without actually having to put on a pair of running shoes or break into a sweat (actually, scratch that, I might actually 'glow' a little with nerves during the process...) I'm asking my friends to donate their hard earned cash to help the Trust do something wonderful with my beloved hair.
I have 11 inches to give and will give the minimum 7 inches on Saturday 29 March. Here's where you come in... for every £100 raised over my £100 opening target I'll give another inch - hopefully reaching at least £500 in cash for this brilliant cause.
So, please, dig deep and boost me to the radical snip that I hope will make a big difference to a little person's life...
STOP PRESS! My lovely supporter, 8-year old Alice has now also pledged to donate at least 7 inches of her hair too. What an awesome little lady she is...
Why?
The Little Princess Trust provides real-hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
As a result of treatment for cancer, most children will suffer hair loss as a side effect. Some boys and girls cope remarkably well but for others this can be very upsetting.
Help me to do something good for one of these brave little people and donate today!
