Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I am running for Kidney Research because as most of you know my daughter, Tanith, was diagnosed with kidney failure quite suddenly at the age of 13.  She spent over 2 years on dialysis and was lucky enough to have a transplant in November 2008. 

I ran the Great North Run last year for Kidney Research and was determined to keep up my fitness levels.  Then I got 'flu, then it snowed... and I seem to be back to square one building up again from a one mile run.  I hope I get to 13 miles more quickly this time.
