After turning 40 this year, I wanted to challenge myself to do something new and something that would push me to new limits.  If I was going to sign up for the marathon, I wanted to raise money for an organization that was close to my heart.  Many of you know that my mom was a lifelong Girl Scout.  She not only worked for the organization but was inspired by their mission to build courage, confidence, and character in young girls.  I am running the 2021 Bank of America Chicago Marathon in her honor!
