My Grandmother, Melba, was an incredible woman who passed away this past summer from living with Alzheimer's for several years. It is a painful disease to watch a loved one die from afar, especially with the recent COVID-19 travel restrictions. We need to find more ways to prevent, diagnose earlier, manage and eventually cure this terrible disease. I will be putting that intention into the miles I'll be training and fundraising for with your generous support.

While my grandmother was based in Canada, I wanted to show my support in fundraising for Alzheimer's Scotland, as research to become more effective to prevent, treat and cure anywhere is a win for so many others around the world.
