Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My husband, Gary, was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma and he received a stem cell transplant in March 2021, which gave him a chance to beat it. It was always Gary's goal to get back out into his adventurous lifestyle and complete the West Highland Way, but sadly he passed away just a few weeks after the transplant.

In Gary’s memory, and to complete his goal for him, Anna, Ross and I (Jillian) are taking on this 154km hike in the Highlands of Scotland.... although Gary would have never quite believed I would be able to complete such a challenge! It's also our way of saying thank you to the donor who very generously donated stem cells to Gary through this amazing charity, giving us so much hope for the future.❤️❤️❤️
