Event: Dundee Kiltwalk 2023, on 20 August 2023
Dundee & Angus foodbank operates on donations of IN-DATE food. We have to regularly purchase large amounts of food due to the large numbers of people requesting food parcels, currently approx. 16,000 per year, one third of whom are children.

Story

A huge thanks to Torran and Dee MacGregor aged (6 & 4 years) of Monifieth. From their own desire to help others worse of than them selves they organised a sponsored walk round Crombie Park with some of their friends. Even when the weather turned so bad and the ground was covered with ice and snow they persevered and raised an amazing £147. Well done. We are proud of you.

About the charity

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. Your support helps us to support the communities of Dundee & Angus. Thank you.
