Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the Statford-Upon-Avon Dragon Boat race on Sunday 16th May 2010 to raise money for the Anthony Nolan Trust, a charity associated with leukaemia and bone marrow transplants.   My role is to be the  'drummer' and those of you who know me well, will no doubt wonder if I will be able to stay on board let alone pound out a steady rhythm!  But I am going to give it a jolly good try.   

Hopefully there will be a team of 11 paddlers on the day known as Susie's Cruisers, after our 'dragon captain',  but unfortunately since registering there are one or two doubtful attendees.  If anyone would like to stand in as a reserve,  please let me know.  It is a fun event, and we will be head to head racing in a 30 foot style Dragon Boat.   To enter it costs £17 per person with each person expected to raise £75 each in sponsorship.  All paddlers must be able to swim.
