Story

(As of around 1 month  ago we where told that John now needs a procedure done to his heart which will be done in dublin and is called a catheterisation. He may also have to get a balloon put in his valve to widen it so now i really feel like a heart mum, before he was doing so well i sometimes forgot he had a heart defect but now it really has hit home and is a very worrying time for myself and johnnie. But i know the drs will do all they can to improve his heart so he can live a normal life)

My son John who is now 2 and a half was diagnosed with Aortic Valve Stenisos when he was 6 months. A huge shock and upset at the time, and although he is yet to have any procedures done, it can still be quite worrying as to what lies ahead for him but i know when that time comes childrens heart beat trust will be there to support me and my husband as they already have been.

Last year i took part in this event and i ran for a special wee boy and neighbour Johnjoe Toner aged 11, who sadly passed away a year ago and i was so proud to do so. Childrens heart beat trust has been supporting Johnjoes parents everyway they can and i know they always will be.

So im running  for them as they have supported so many and conitue to do so and do a fantastic Job. ❤❤❤
