In May 2019 I am taking part in the Tough Mudder Challenge. I am raising money for the BBS UK charity which raises money for Bardet-Biedl Syndrome, a very rare genetic condition affecting only 500 people in the UK.

Ollie lives locally and has been diagnosed with this very rare syndrome.  Ollie's eyesight is already affected and he is likely to lose his sight completely.  We want to raise as much money as possible to help find treatment so that hopefully in the near future there may be something out there that could stop Ollie losing his sight completely.  

Because the syndrome is so rare, there is limited medical knowledge about it at present and therefore it is imperative for more funds to be made available for research to increase that knowledge and hopefully find ways to help those with the syndrome.  

This is going to be a tough challenge for me, but nothing compared to the challenges facing Ollie.  So please donate, any contribution - however small - will be very much appreciated.  Many thanks in anticipation of your support.
