I am raising money for East Cheshire Hospice in memory of my dear friend, Liz Norton who passed away from cancer in June having being cared for wonderfully by the staff at East Cheshire Hospice. 

The hospice receives less than 17% of their running costs from the government so they need to raise money to pay 80% of their their costs each day - that is £7500 a day!

As you probably know I enjoy a little run every now and then, so what better way than to raise money, dressed in festive attire, no doubt in the freezing cold, slipping on ice and trudging through snow - I'm always up for a challenge, so I have entered the Wilmslow Festive 10k on November 28th and the Tatton Yule Yomp 10k on December 12th. I have run both events before and they are great fun.
