As some of you will be aware a few years ago I was diagnosed with a form of cancer. Thankfully I got the clear after several months of intense chemotherapy. After this, for some time I have been meaning to do something to raise money for a cancer charity. An opportunity came up, so I have decided to take part. 

I am raising money for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust by doing a charity abseil. This seemed like a good idea what's a few meters. Turns out those few meters are actually 50m, 164 feet, 12 floors.

The charity provides oportunities to help build the confidence of these young people facing the biggest challenge of their lives. Each child is given the opportunity to feel part of the team completing all activities from sailing to washing up.

I will be doing the abseil on the 24th March in Leeds City center.
