Story
Howard University Alternative Spring Break (HUASB) is a nationally recognized service-learning program offered at no-cost for students of all faiths and backgrounds to embrace the Howard University motto of Truth and Service.
This year HUASB has received an overwhelming response of student volunteers that have expressed their commitment to forgo their traditional spring break and devote themselves to being change agents in systematically underserved communities. The Office of the Dean of the Chapel is committed to ensuring that every student that wants to serve will be able to serve without financial barriers.
We are asking HUASB Alumni and friends to make a gift to the Alternative Spring Break program and ensure that our students have the financial support needed to change the world through service this Spring Break!
