Dalcour Maclaren are fundraising for their chosen charity partner, Alzheimer's Research UK, to help make breakthroughs in dementia research possible!

James’s Story:

The tougher bit: My grandmother, Judy, was recently diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. She’s been ill for a while now but throughout she has constantly stayed up beat and positive. She has always been a tough, direct and no-nonsense character - so I will keep this succinct - I’m trying to raise as much money as possible in her name for Alzheimer’s Research UK to give back to this wonderful charity! 

The challenge: so…. I’m not the biggest fan of heights… or built up cities - I'm a farmers son who would rather be walking the dog with two feet on the ground than gallivanting in the metropolis…. However, to conquer these fears I’m planning on chucking myself off a Skyscraper in London… so please donate if you wish for this country bumpkin abseil down the cheesegrater! 

Over the coming months I’m going to be raising as much money as possible through donations and bake sales to achieve this aim! #sausagerolls

I need to raise a minimum of £1,000 to participate in the challenge but I’ve set myself a goal of £1,500!
