Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I ran the London Marathon in 2019 and it didn't quite go to plan. But, I was lucky enough to get a ballot place for 2020 to try all over again... that didn't quite work out either, for very different reasons. Neither did 2021 or 2022.
So, bizarrely, a full three years later than planned, I'm going to try again in 2023. Surely this time will be okay?
A lot has changed since my initial attempt but the cause remains the same.
I'm fundraising for Alzheimer's Research UK, the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure. My aunt was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a few years ago so this fundraising is very much for her.
Any donation is so massively appreciated and please leave your name so I know who to thank once I cross that finish line a short 26.2 miles later.
