Thanks to everybody for your support and your sympathy. I hope we have fulfilled all your expectations and the confidence that you showed us with your donations. But what it is more important, you can be really proud because you have helped to give the oportunity to kids ib the third world of having a better future.

Thanks so much to everybody! Thanks to all the members of this wonderful team, and thanks to Mary, Andreia and Rachel, also authors of making this challenge possible and real pussycats!

And remember, donations are still more than welcome, there are a few challenges that we can achieve, such as my blonde hair :D

The monkey

Hello everybody,

Let me introduce our cause. We are a group of 11 runners, all of them part of Kingston University, with a crazy proposal (as crazy as our name), to run the Green Belt Relay. This relay consists in running 220 miles around London in two days.

http://www.greenbeltrelay.org.uk/

As a team, we ran it last year and it was a complete success from all the points of view: too much fun, sport and solidarity. This year, sadly, we have been forced to release a few member due to the substantial offers from proffesional sport teams (but we know that you will be ever be a pussycat in your heart whenever you are), but we have introduced new fresh blood, some of them with zero experience on running such a big race. And we need you for supporting us!!

And since this race is not only a sport competition, but also a good excuse for a gesture of solidarity, we suggest you express your support with a small amount (any quantity will be welcome) of money for a charity house. In our case, money will be destinated to Unicef, a charity organization that does not need any further presentation. Since F.C. Barcelona has decided to take another sponsor for the next year, they need our help as a similar quality team for being promoting!

To make it more interesting, what about a few challenges? Last year, we ran with a pink t-shirt, a monkey mask for me and cat makeup for the pussycats and JC was wearing Maria's mini-skirt, high heels and a wig for a whole day in the university. Let us know your suggestions for this year and after a brain storming we will publish in this webpage the winner challenges!

We have already some of them:

-If we raise £200, JC will wear for one day a traditional French outfit: striped t-shirt and beret. I know it is not as good as having the opportunity to see his beautiful legs again ladies, but it is something.   DONE!

-If we raise £300, I will shave my beard that I have keept unaltered since 2004. Don't complain later! DONE!

-If we raise £500, we will initiate the rehabilitation of one of our facebook addicts. Reyhaneh has promised to desactivate her facebook account for 2 weeks. DONE!

-If we raise £600, all of us will run with our hair dyed in pink. DONE!

-If we raise £900, Jerome will shave his head. DONE!

-If we raise £1000,  our talented musician member, Raphael will offer a small guitar concert in Kingston university hall. DONE!

-If we raise £1500, I will dye my hair with permanent blonde dye.  DONE!

-If we raise £2000, Reyhaneh will dye her nice and long hair with permanent blonde dye (Alicia's hue) Loading...

Cheers,

Jesus

P.S.: Many thanks to all those Pussy cats in spirit that, for one reason or another cannot take part this year but they will support us. Thanks Mary, Iain, Adina, Giorgiana, Rachel, Norbert, Dimitrios, Alex... Pussy cats once, Pussy cats forever!!
