Story

Having suffered with eating disorders for 10 years myself and now working alongside those who suffer - I can imagine just how hard it is for people in this current crisis. We are seeing such a demand for our services that I'm voluntarily manning the helpline (with the rest of the team) to keep it open for 26 hours straight. Beat does an incredible job of supporting people and I want to raise money to meet the demand for the extra 35% of calls we are currently receiving.

Our team are going to work through the night to make this charity event happen. Please sponsor us! Any donations would be so gratefully received.

Huge love to all of you in this current time and stay safe!!

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
