Story
Myself and 5 other colleagues from the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre are raising money for Muscular Dystrophy UK by taking part in a sky dive in Durham the first weekend in June!
More than 60 rare and very rare progressive muscle-weakening and wasting conditions affect around 110,000 adults and children in the UK. Currently there is no cure for Muscular Dystrophy, the prognosis for people diagnosed with the condition varies according to the type and progression of the disorder. Some cases may be mild and progress very slowly over a normal lifespan, while others produce severe muscle weakness, functional disability, and loss of the ability to walk massively impacting day to day life. Muscular Dystrophy UK brings together individuals, families and professionals to help fight muscle-wasting conditions.
Please help me to reach my fundraising target, Thank you!
