Story

My name is Jessie. I'm 6 years old and want to do something to help the millions of people in the world who don't have safe clean water to drink. I heard that not everyone is as lucky as us. Not everyone can turn on a tap and have clean water. Some people have to walk miles every day to find water for their families, others have to drink dirty water which can be very dangerous. Every year millions of kids just like me die because they have to drink dirty water. This makes me really sad and I want to try and help.

In September I'm going to do a 26 mile bike ride around Kielder reservoir to raise money for Wateraid. I found out that Kielder reservoir has 200 billion litres of water in it. This is more than enough to give a bucket of water to every single person in the world!

I can't give everyone in the world a bucket of water, but I know that the money I raise for Wateraid will help.

Please support me by donating some money to Wateraid.

Thank you

Jessie Morris
