This September I will be taking part in the Great North Run to raise money for Samaritans

In December 2021, my boyfriend Fraser lost his wonderful best friend Levi, to suicide. Levi was one of a kind, funny and caring. Anyone that knew him, knew how special he really was. The devastation caused by such a loss, is heart breaking. I want to do what I can to help prevent anyone else going through the same thing.

Isolation and disconnection can lead to suicide, and you never really know whether the people you meet feel like that on the inside, no matter how confident and popular they are on the outside. Samaritans is a unique charity that is dedicated to help with these feelings, and I think the work that they do can not only help in the moment of crisis but prevent suicidal thoughts at the outset.   

A call can save a life. Every 10 seconds, Samaritans respond to a call for help.
