Hi, my name is Jessie Hernández-Reyes, and I am a proud Reality Changers 2015 alumni. 

This upcoming June 2019, I am proud to say that I will be the first person in my family to graduate from college! I will be graduating cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a Bachelor's in Political Science, Chicana/o Studies, and a minor in Education Studies. 

Attaining and navigating higher education as a first-generation college student has not been easy. However, it has been largely through the help of Reality Changers that I have been granted the support needed to gain admission to my current university, and ensure that I remained involved and in good standing during my four years here. Reality Changers has provided another family, a home away from home during my time in college, and has proved to be an immense and invaluable support network throughout my college journey. 

That being said, through this campaign, I am hoping to give back to the community that has given me so much. Please join me in donating to Reality Changers as they reach their 18th year of establishment, and help us build today's brightest first-generation college students.
