I DID IT! :) It was rainy and windy, but I managed to come about 30th out of 50 people. Not bad for a first attempt!

AS OF MONDAY 1st JULY I have been in training, swimming three times a week preparing for the swim on 15th September. I have never done anything like this before and like most of us gave up swimming lessons when I left school, so it's quite daunting, but exciting!
